Team Lead Account Management

Be the consultants of Hemmersbach internal and external customers to successfully identify and respond to new and existing business opportunities

Your skills

  • 3+ years of work experience (or equivalent) in Bid management
  • Solid people management experience (or equivalent) in international context
  • C1 English
  • Ability to translate customer and market requirements into proven and new solutions

Your tasks

Mission: Be the interface between Hemmersbach customers and the internal project management teams, to successfully identify and create new business

Key Tasks and Responsibilities         

  • Supervise a team of Bid Managers, Account Managers, and Solution Architects, delegating tasks to meet department goals and targets.
  • Ensure all bids are submitted on time and meet customer requirements while adhering  to company standards
  • Work with departmental executives, and Account Directors to understand, support and prioritize sales strategies to support overall growth targets
  • Collaborate with assigned teams to understand our customers’ needs for each opportunity and develop successful solutions and pricing strategies
  • Engage with various team members such as sales, marketing, and delivery teams  to gather necessary information for the bid
  • Promote service delivery cost-optimization strategies, including cost reductions while creating effective and efficient business solutions to meet customer requirements
  • When required, support in customer-specific RFP responses, capabilities presentations and marketing materials
  • Analyze pricing data from industry sources and competitors, making improvement recommendations to the team
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge library of business-specific bid response content
  • Assist in the development of global rate cards
  • Manage HR-related topics such as annual leave planning, disciplinary actions, etc. and ensure am members have the knowledge, training and resources they need to carry out their work.
  • Actively drive new business opportunities and maximize existing client opportunities for a specific client portfolio
  • Conduct regular deal and account reviews with the team to ensure timely and accurate deal execution and forecast accuracy
  • Manage all account management activities and deliverables and analyze performance metrics to drive a continuous improvement an drive process and strategy improvements
  • Report to senior management on the development of accounts and opportunities

Job Requirements     

  • 5+ years of work experience (or equivalent) in Account management or in Customer Success management
  • 2-3 years of people management experience in the IT Service industry. Ideally in (one or more) of the areas: end-user computing, field services, OEM services, infrastructure services, network and data center services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel, Teams and PowerPoint
  • Experience in developing deals that are global in nature
  • May require occasional travel
  • Minimum of 5 years as a Bid Manager or in a similar sales role.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
    Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage and meet deadlines
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or relevant field
