Onsite Technician

Your skills

  • Minimum 3 years of PC and hardware repair experience, including Windows and macOS support.
  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent industry experience; MCP/MCSE is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, TCP/IP networking, VPNs, and MDM environments.
  • Hands-on experience with printers, barcode scanners, and basic network hardware.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills with technical and non-technical users.
  • Experience in IT inventory management, imaging, and ITIL-based service environments.

Your tasks

  • Provide on-site and walk-up IT support for Windows and macOS devices, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Configure, install, upgrade, and maintain end-user workspace hardware and applications, including desktops, laptops, tablets, barcode scanners, and printers.
  • Manage IT inventory, including hardware receipt, storage, imaging, and deployment per client security protocols.
  • Deliver advanced technical support for manufacturing and production systems, including the configuration and deployment of specialized equipment.
  • Collaborate with remote service desk teams to address escalated technical issues and ensure efficient ticket resolution.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including OS patches, data backup, and troubleshooting for network-connected devices and peripherals.
  • Provide VIP/executive support to ensure seamless IT service for high-profile users.
  • Assist with the configuration and maintenance of basic IT infrastructure, including switches, routers, access points, and server racks.
  • Maintain detailed documentation in the CMDB and ensure compliance with ITIL processes where applicable.
  • Foster positive relationships with end-users and provide technical training or guidance as needed.
