Data Center Network Support Engineer

Your tasks

• Excellent Hands-on Experience in supporting various Hardware which are part of Server, Network and Unified Communication services
• Should have worked in supporting following Hardware from a Hands & Feet support perspective - Network (Router, Switch, Firewall etc)
• Break-Fix and IMACD day-to-day support for all Infrastructure devices (Network, Unified Communication and Server)
• Participate in RMA process - receive, unbox, check for physical damage and ensure complete package contents
• Recording serial numbers, placing asset tags, completing inventory lists, etc.
• Physical installation of any technology device from switches to servers - Any product that is rack, cabinet, wall, floor, ceiling, table, or desktop mounted
• Physical connection of these devices to include patch cables, cords, power supplies, fiber optic cordage, HDMI cables, etc. to include grounding, dressing, labeling and documentation
• Log-in and confirm basic functionality in accordance with provided instruction
• Physical removal of legacy equipment and connections
• Documenting the installation to include sketches, CAD, photographs, spreadsheets, templates, etc.
• Upload or other transfer of installation documentation prior to departure from site when requested
• Disposal of obsolete, removed equipment from site Receipt of sign-off/acceptance from onsite end user POC
