Your Task

Bid and Pre-sales Assistant

Location: Chineham HQ, Basingstoke, Hampshire.

With our unique business model, we are regularly and consistently invited to support the world’s largest IT manufacturers and Systems Integrators in accurately identifying and pricing the support and service needs that they wish us to provide for them. This, coupled with our position as one of the leading providers within the emerging market of Device as a Service, our bid & pre-sales team needs support. Support that is integral within the bid process, engaging directly with our clients to assess, price and perform initial negotiations with them.

This critical role is the responsibility of our Bid & Pre-sales Assistant. You will be responsible for the initial pricing responses and negotiations using a clearly defined set of parameters and of course, your own pragmatic flair for identifying the perfect proposition for our clients.

This is a role that is ideally suited to someone with good excel and presentational skills, adept at working closely and directly with our clients and above all, a strong drive and willingness to learn the “art of the deal”.

You will be fully supported throughout, by a wealth of Bid management experience and with our expanded portfolio of service offerings, each and every proposal will be directly influenced by your efforts during those early stages.

  • Comfortable making and proposing your own pricing models.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A friendly, engaging and pragmatic approach to your work.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office – especially Excel.
  • Thrives in an agile and rapid-paced environment.
  • Any experience of a bid or pricing environment would be advantageous but not essential.
  • The role may be subject to enhanced references and vetting.
