 IT Printer Technician

Your skills

  • printers in enterprise-level and POS sites. A3.A4 print training and Laserjet series
  • Familiarity with HPE and HPI project tickets and processes
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel long distances as needed
  • Willingness to drive an average of 900 miles per month

Your Tasks

You will be expected to troubleshoot issues related to printers and other IT equipment and ensure the timely resolution of project tickets for both HPE and HPI projects. This role requires a high level of customer service skills, as you will be the face of Hemmersbach in our clients' locations. You must be comfortable with long-distance driving as this is a high-demand role that may vary depending on location.

  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clients, ensuring they are satisfied with the support provided
  • Perform equipment installations, upgrades, and repairs for clients' printers and other IT equipment
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to printer hardware and software components in both consumer and enterprise environments
  • Diagnose and resolve printer, hardware and software issues on various devices, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
  • Respond promptly to client requests for technical support, either on-site or remotely, depending on the needs of the client and the scope of the project
  • Collaborate with other members of the team, including dispatch, project managers, engineers, and other technicians, to ensure seamless delivery of support services
  • Provide regular reporting and documentation of support activities, including detailed descriptions of issues encountered, steps taken to resolve them, and recommendations for future improvements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on printers in enterprise-level and POS sites.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with HPE and HPI project tickets and processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel long distances as needed
