Your Tasks

“This opportunity is only available to those applicants who have proven experience building and managing a field support organization, a group of field support technicians (a.k.a. desktop support, deskside support, workplace support services, etc.), working out of customer locations”.

  • Proven experience directly implementing a large field service support organization from the beginning, going from hiring skilled technicians, overseeing employees training, and managing all aspects of service delivery
  • Ensuring correct and appropriate delivery implementation strategies, driving ongoing quality and profit optimization and being a principal influence of upselling initiatives, full P&L responsibility for the projects
  • Leading support operations of data center hardware brands like IBM, HPE, Dell, etc.
  • Implementing Hemmersbach processes and standards to oversee prompt and correct invoicing and claim management handling
  • Personnel responsibility for Service Delivery Managers, Project Assistants and Technicians including resource planning, new hires in cooperation with the HR department
  • Performing a role of an ambassador and leadership role model for the Hemmersbach culture as well as a trainer, mentor and senior model for employees
  • Implementing the company’s annual BIG THREE goals as a suite of manageable, measurable and achievable tasks, which are incorporated into the team’s daily routine
  • Responsible for compliance with project-specific service level agreements as well as system, productivity and quality management within your projects

Our Requirements

  • Extensive (8+ years) experience in running large (IT field service support) projects with full P&L responsibility; excellent project or program management experience
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, a proven track record of identifying business opportunities and capitalizing on them
  • Perfect command of English language
  • Desired university degree and IT industry background (ITIL and PM qualification advantageous)
  • High level of personal responsibility, decisiveness, and the willingness to always go one step further
  • Process and operations orientation: ability to conduct a microanalysis of operations and to identify and implement improvements
  • Being customer oriented, analytical problem solver with strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent negotiation (sales skills), project and people management skills
  • Hands-on approach
  • Openness to travel worldwide
