Your Tasks

An IT/Computer Support Engineer is required by a next-generation global technology company who are looking for the ideal candidate to join them as a full-time employee in their client’s office.

As Support Engineer, you will be providing onsite technical Support to Enterprise users of desktop/laptop/PC/printer, assisting with building and deployment of new desktop/laptop hardware, supporting mobile devices and managing tickets using the company’s chosen IT ticketing tool. You will also coordinate and communicate with the central helpdesk team.

Our Requirements

  • Candidate with ability to work a Full-time position and must have valid permit to work in Tokyo
  • Able to speak/read/write in local language and English
  • A passion for IT and providing excellent customer service
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills both software and hardware of PC
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience
  • Field support, which includes Troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system issues and problems and fixing the issues without affecting / violating the hardware warranty or customer security compliance requirement.
  • Hands on experience in installing, troubleshooting and fixing desktop, printer, laptop and other computer peripheral hardware problems.
  • Basic knowledge of networking to perform smart hand activity under instruction-based activities at sites.
  • Ability to lift / move computer equipment weighing up to 20 kg
  • Good written and oral communications skills with clients and management and good people skills.
  • Any experience with IT ticketing tool is preferred
  • Experience working with international company is a plus point
  • Ability to work with deadlines and complete tasks on time.
  • Good to have – knowledge in AD for all Service Provider personnel’s
  • Good to have – knowledge and experience on software and OS deployment using SCCM or other deployment technologies for all Service Provider Personnel’s
  • Should have A+ Certification or similar, OEM vendor training, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience across multiple device platforms, customer service training.
  • Understand and follow relevant regulations including attending Customer required training and complying with requirements related to use of personal protective equipment (“PPE”), all workplace health and safety policy as well as required process and standard
